Ever since Gia Caro arrived in the small, sleepy town of Ruby Falls, Tennessee, her life has spiraled out of control. Between losing her grandmother a little more each day to dementia, and her hot boss’s constant attention, her once quiet existence isn’t so quiet anymore. After weeks of sidestepping Colton, things get out of hand, and before Gia knows what’s happening, she’s spending her nights in his bed and her mornings in his kitchen. And as he cleans out drawers and makes room in his closet, she starts to wonder if she’s falling too fast.

I really enjoyed this one! This gave me the feels and I finished this book so fast that I was wanting more still I realized it was over.
Gia comes to Ruby Falls after finding out her grandma that she thought was dead is, in fact, alive but has dementia. She drives down to help take care of her. Once she gets there her funds are getting smaller and smaller. She decides to get a job and ends up going to the local bar in town for an interview. Here she meets Colton who works there and is the owner's son. This is where our story begins.
I loved Gia and Colton together! The chemistry between these two could start a forest fire! Colton was the perfect love interest to me. He was sweet, sexy, and just plain amazing. The intensity in which he cared for Gia was soul crushing. The more I kept reading, the more I kept falling in love with his character. Gia was such a sweetheart. She was caring and wasn't afraid to stand up to Colton. I loved the back and forth banter between them.
We had some drama of course. We had a crazy ex who refused to let Colton move on, we had some suspense working in the background, and we had to go with Gia on her journey of getting her grandma back and how to take care of her.
The next book looks like it's going to be about Tide. I can't wait to read about his story with his daughter.
