Why in 2020 was this book so heavily weighed down with Fifty Shades feels? Can we not come up with anything other than billionaires with BDSM obsessions and a secret that they have? Just in case that’s what you’re looking for, you’ll find it here.

I didn’t really find that the characters stood out or had this big connection. Sexually? Yeah, their chemistry was pretty good. However, in their interactions outside of sex there was nothing really there. We don’t even really find out anything about Braden so I know that Skye doesn’t know him. Let alone say she’s in love with him.

Besides that, we go through the book with all of the hush hush between what happened with Braden and Addison. We don’t know anything about this man besides the snippets that he fed to Skye like leftovers. I saw that there is a book that’s written in his POV, I might give that a try just to see if that helps give Braden some character.

Overall, It’s just an updated version of FSOG. The sex scenes are hot, but no character development.
