Recs if you like Funny Boy...

queer/trans south asian books! this list is multi-genre, and so includes queer rep from fantasy, romance, memoirs/non-fiction, poetry, etc.! recs are always welcome :)

I thought it would be nice to have all of them in one long list.

Books with a narrator or protagonist that’s so naive they often feel unreliable, creating an interesting way for the reader to learn about their world.

Fiction books set in Sri Lanka

Open to recs!

The literature I’ve read for my bachelor’s in English Literature at the University of Oslo (2023-2026)

I'm collecting books from each country. Ideally written by transmasc people or other flavour of queer. If I get really desperate I may add a book written by a cis woman with feminist undertones.

Recommendations are welcome!
