I received the ARC for this story this morning and an hour and a half later I've already devoured it! It was short and sweet and despite all that needed to get done for the story to be completed it didn't feel too long or short. Something I find incredibly annoying in books is when I feel that the issues that need to be addressed aren't and I didn't feel that here at all (save very minor things that are personal preference and not a testament to the writing). I will admit I do wish we got more time to see Kiora and Raden together but the little bits were a good way of teasing the audience so despite my urge to consume romance I can appreciate the author's choice to have it that way! All in all, this was an amazing pallet cleanser that came at the perfect time for me and I'm so grateful I was given the chance to read it.
