Recs if you like In Limbo...

Graphic Memoirs, aka Memoirs told via Graphic Novels.

Huge shout outs to both one_crazy_elliott and MadHoney for such lengthy & thorough rec lists to add!

Graphic Medicine is… (an actual term) graphic novels, manga, comics, and visual representation engaging with health and healthcare - from health diagrams visual pamphlets to a graphic novel including health story or rep.

Mostly adult, YA, MG, and some other youth/ all ages titles

In-progress / updated over time Reccomendations welcome

I have spent years curating a list of graphic novels for myself on goodreads and I thought this place would be great to share it and share my love for graphic novels. I’m not picky about the plot or topics of the graphic novels I read so the list is pretty much any graphic novel I have heard of regardless of topic. Many are middle grade or young adult as is the general trend of the format but recommendations for more (especially adult) would be greatly appreciated.

Also manga is not included.

Graphic novels, comics and manga with absolutely stunning art and illustrations 🥰

Books with beautiful covers entirely based on my own personal tastes lol 🫶🏻

Accessible, interesting and compulsively readable non-fiction across a variety of genres for the non-fiction curious — compiled by someone who barely reads non-fiction. 😉

This list is started only with books I've read, but I'm open to recs!
