Isabella comes in and finds a man in her living room. She's even more shocked when this man claims to be her father. He's not there for a happy reunion, but instead needs her to go to work with a mentor in order to be a part of the banking industry. She reluctantly agrees, until she finds out that the man who is to be her mentor is someone she knows. His name is Adam and they had a fling a few years ago. They really didn't end well and don't get along now but agree to work together. The more time they spend together, the more the spark reignites and soon they are back to where they were before. Only this time, the stakes are really high, both professionally and personally (Adam and Isabella are going to be parents!). Can they work it out so everyone gets what they want?
I didn't really like Adam at first and I wondered what Isabella was thinking just going along with whatever the plan was. Eventually I understood Adam a little better and Isabella grew up a lot and learned to stand up for herself. The only character that wasn't redeemed for me was Isabella's dad. He could have just stayed away.
