At first, I didn’t think this book was quite as good as the first two, but rereading it I realize it is—it just has a much slower pace. Drizzt’s character development is really well done, and I loved all the different characters, each with their own complexities and motives.

It did feel like two books in one with a clear divide, but I still really enjoyed the story and characters. The ending felt like a good place to wrap things up, love all of Drizzt’s stories
