Recs if you like The Last Magician...

I'm sure some of these are already on your TBR, so might as well add some more! Let me know if I am missing any of your favorites!

Aka my favourite fantasy subgenre where we get both magic and intricate plannings to pull off something previously thought impossible (usually a break-in of some kind) and often everything then turns out to be much more complicated than previously thought

(For series I only included the first book of each)

Books about traveling through time and dimensions and all the crazy implications

Who doesn't love a good heist? Now what if there was magic? Or pirates? Or knights and kings? In this list you'll find stories set in fantastical worlds that feature or revolve around a heist. Also includes the occasional conmanship or mission that might not technically be a heist but has a very similar feeling. Recs and feedback always welcome <3

Books about the con artists and how they get away with it

recommendations for a fall tbr

Magic exists in these worlds and the characters wield it well

Only one rule: there is a snake on the cover. It doesn’t have to be a specific genre, it doesn’t have to be a specific age group, it doesn’t even need to be a good book.

Bonus points if it’s the original book snake!

It’s middle school again and you just went to the library little alternative kid 🖤
