The Man Who Has No Love (Soulless, #3)

Victoria Quinn

Enjoyment: Quality: Characters: Plot:

I finally got Valerie to give Deacon what he wants. To move to the city so the three of them can be together. I just have to give her one thing...a penthouse in my building. That means I'll have to see her, talk to her, and worst of all, assist her. But no matter how difficult she is, her being here means Derek will be here...and that makes it all worth it. Until she gets between Deacon and I...and rips us apart.

The drama that popped up was pretty predictable and expected in this one. But it still hurt. I will say that Derek is the cutest kid. I love him so much. I love how much he loves Cleo. And how much she loves him, outside of her relationship with his father. I love Tucker. He's a great character. He may not have understood Deacon and didn't have as much patience for him when they were kids, but he continues to want what's best for Deacon and pushes him to do right by Cleo. Hopefully Deacon and Cleo have made it through the worst Valerie has to offer. But somehow I don't think she's done with them yet.
