Recs if you like Love at First Sighting...

Books centred around cryptids, the paranormal, aliens, et cetera, but also... people make out.

Some people like their male leads to be alpha chads. I'm not one of them. I like them soft. I like them anxious. I like them doing traditionally female jobs and roles and hobbies.

Mostly romance because that's what I read but other genres present.

Usually just adding the first volume in the series unless they are stand-alones or have distinctly different focus/MCs (most romance series).

For the readers who watched The X-Files and thought, “Okay, but what if I want the monster?”

A weird little list of paranormal rom-coms, cryptid crushes, alien encounters, werewolf nonsense, Loch Ness longing, conspiracy chaos, and supernatural love interests who are probably bad for your blood pressure but excellent for the plot.

Bring snacks, suspend disbelief, and please do not flirt with Bigfoot unsupervised.
