Imprisoned in the Land of the Dead, Finnian must figure out how to outwit the High God of Death and Curses and right his wrongs—however, the more their fates tangle, the more old feelings ignite. Chaos is inevitable. EVEN IN DEATH is the second book in the Fragile Divine, an interconnected dark fantasy romance series about the frailty of gods and goddesses. You can expect high stakes, all the emotions, a mythology-inspired world, urban settings, mental health rep, and a little horror. The series must be read in order.

*Wow* I was lucky enough to snag an ARC for Even in Death and with it, a copy of The Goddess of. I don’t even know where to begin so commence word vomit - TGo was heartbreaking and I felt everything at once. Naia’s story absolutely hit me hard. She’s such a resilient soul, and her love for everyone, even when it isn’t reciprocated just resonated with me. Her relationship with Finny tugged at my heart strings and it leaves you wanting more. Thank goodness for EiD... because I needed more. When I tell you I was gutted from the get go and wasn’t even prepared for the tears I cried thru the story. Randi wrote out grief and loss and yearning in such a beautiful way. I couldn’t put the books down. These have been my favorite books so far into the year and I cannot recommend them enough. Love transcends all and it’s captured in both TGo and EiD in such a beautiful manner in both Naia and Finnian’s POVs. Honestly such an amazing read.
TGo guts you and EiD finishes you off.
I absolutely loved the story in The Goddess Of and I knew I wanted a Cassian and Finnian book after - I just knew there was more to their story. And Randi has delivered a masterpiece of emotional trauma, happiness, rage and heartache. Cassian retelling of the two centuries between the present and past had me welling up and feeling a lot of emotions that a book hasn’t made me feel in a long time. I loved seeing everything unfold and also getting flashbacks of parts during the first book through different eyes. The ending?! Omg….Naia is a complete badass and I hope we get another book for her, or even a novella as she navigates motherhood, marriage and balancing being a goddess. Randi - not only do you have stunningly beautiful covers but the story inside doesn’t disappoint. Thank you so much for sending me an arc of this to read and be completely destroyed by.
