This one had a bit too much going on. And the relationship between Kade and Yara. It was too stressful. When you throw war-torn countries, betrayal, kidnapping, and murder in the mix? Definitely way too much. I am very interested to get back to reading Declan‘s book, which I was reading before this one, and realized that I needed to read Kade and Yara’s story first. But I might need a minute because this one was a lot.
