Enjoyment: Quality: Characters: Plot:

Putting wet clothes back on while in an SUV was not on my list of things to do today. But neither was the reason why the clothes came off in the first place…As a nursing student, I was just trying to make ends meet and pay for my studies by waitressing at a diner. Life was normal–until Victor walked in.From that moment, everything changed. It didn’t matter that he was much older than I, and at that point, the sheer force of attraction between us completely quashed any sense that my brain tried to make. But now we have something in common other than just the need to spend time together with our clothes off, but we like that too.My best friend and some of his family have made it clear that they do not approve of the relationship Victor and I have.We love each other, and despite what those around us are feeling, what is between us is far more than just a passing infatuation.Did I forget to mention that I'm pregnant?Oh, and then there is the psycho ex-boyfriend...

Becca and Victor meet one dark, stormy night when his phone isn't working and his car is damaged. She is helpful to him and he is taken with her sweet demeanor. Victor gets another car brought to him and offers Becca a ride home. She accepts and one thing leads to another and they spend the night together. They part ways, but Becca finds out that she has a souvenir of their time together: a baby! When she tells Victor, he's supportive, even though he's quite a bit older than her and has grown children. His daughter and especially daughter-in-law treat Becca very badly. Eventually, he just has to put everyone in their place (along with his son dealing with his own wife and her bad behavior). Eventually, they do get their happily ever after.
