I have been slowly reading through the Will Trent series, and when I got an ARC for the newest instalment, I dropped everything to read it. I do wish I would have read the other books in the series before jumping into this one but I just couldn’t resist.
This book is another chilling addition to the Will Trent series. It had me hooked, and I couldn’t put it down - there are so many twists and turns!
It is so well-written and decently paced! Slaughter definitely does not shy away from writing gruesome or brutal scenes which I quite enjoy. It’s definitely stomach-turning but in the best way, making it feel real.
I would definitely recommend reading through the entirety of the series before you read the newest instalment in order to get background on the characters and other storylines that continue on in this book.
Thank you to NetGalley and William Morrow for the eARC in exchange for an honest review.
