My life changed forever the day I saved Obsidian Voss from drowning in the ocean. When my father lands himself in trouble, I take a job working for Obsidian, one of the country’s most famous billionaires. It doesn’t take long for me to realize that there’s more behind the façade he presents to the world—a darker, more dangerous side. Still, I’m drawn to him. As he introduces me to a world I never knew existed, I find myself falling for him. But I’m torn because I came to Midnight Manor with a hidden agenda, and I’ve been lying to Obsidian from the start. Eventually, he’s going to find out. My secret will change everything. And if Obsidian really is the monster he thinks he is, what will he do to me? A dark contemporary billionaire romance with a tortured hero, touch her and die, and secret society tropes from USA Today Bestselling Author duo P. Rayne.

“Love is a foreign concept to me when it comes to a woman. Just as I now know what it is to value someone else’s happiness and needs over my own. My chest cracks open, and Ariana nuzzles her way in. Hell, she’s been inching in since the day she showed up here.” —Obsidian Voss gurgling choking gasping wheezing screaming throwing up Indeed, there are far more smutty and hot scenes than in the three previous books. Certainly, this book was undoubtedly as sizzling as the last one. This book was indeed had the perfect conclusion to wrap up the series. But there's something about it that seems off and lacking. I liked the beginning part of the book, and it wasn't bad at all. I just thought it was too fast paced by reaching the end part of the book. I thought there should be more depth to the romance. The attraction between them seems a little too hurried, even though their connection wasn't all that terrible. I wish they had more time to be alone with one another. I felt both love and hate for Ariana, I admire how she comforts Sid and ensures that he doesn't get too caught up in his own issues. Her perseverance is also admirable. However, I detest her cowardice in keeping the truth from him and putting their relationship in danger. Sid, on the other hand, was really captivating and fascinating. His character was masterfully written, revealing his inner turmoil and the demons from his past. I love how he's finally able to let go of his struggles. And I'm screaming wheezing throwing up because of his devotion to Ariana. Also, you wouldn't want to miss this sensational quote: “I want you to know all of me, Ariana. I want to be worthy of your love.” —Obsidian Voss I likewise very much gobbled this book. My only complaint is that I wish there had been more scenes in this book where the girls interacted more profoundly with one another, such to the one where Cinder, Rapsody, and Anabelle had their "girls time" in the previous book. This book mainly had "girls time" when they went out to a bar with Ariana, and it felt like there wasn't enough of it. I suppose the epilogue moment made up for it, though🤷🏻‍♀️😔 Furthermore, I would like to admire Kitt Swann and Sebastian York for narrating this book. I love how skillfully they represented the characters and captured their feelings. I was enthralled and felt every emotion imaginable—excitement, rage, and joy. Overall, I had a great time gobbling up this series. I found the connections between each couple to be thrilling and exciting and intriguing. The found family tropes that delivers in this series is quite endearing. It is indeed delightful to finally witness the Voss brothers finally resolve their own struggles and discover their own true love. We were relieved to see that the Voss brothers had finally overcome their own issues and were able to discover their own true love. The way that their wives became best friends and in-laws at the same time was equally remarkable either. I highly recommend reading this series, if you're looking for a slow-burning, dark billionaire romance wrapped with smut-worthy banter and filled with spicy-worthy scene between each couple!!! 🌹🌻🪻🌷👀🥵🔥🌶️❤️‍🔥🫦
