I know this is supposed to be a novella, but it still felt like there wasn’t much of a plot to it. It also normalizes the “playing hard to get trope.” Is there a girl rejecting you? Just be more persistent! I know that the target audience here is female, but we shouldn’t be normalizing that for women so that they expect that. It also feels like the amount of stuff that the main character had going on would not be solved in 24 hours after a few conversations with a guy.
