This is one of my favourite movie genres so I thought I’d make a list for books!

What makes a house haunted? Ghosts? Grief? Bad decisions in the basement?

This list explores homes possessed by spirits, secrets, and sometimes just extremely questionable architecture. Some are literally haunted. Others are haunted by what happened inside them. Because sometimes it’s not the ghost. It’s the house.

My list of fall reads for 2026; mix of spooky/horror and cozy vibes for fall

Whether the house is a character all on its own, something is haunting the halls, or there's just something strange going on, it's still your Home, right? Just with a little extra spookiness

haunted house/the vibes in this house are rotted. (please recommend any books you think i'd like based off of this list!)
