In Warsaw, Poland, in 1942, Mira faces impossible decisions after learning that the Warsaw ghetto is to be "liquidated," but a group of young people are planning an uprising against their Nazi captors.
I really don't know how I feel about this book. It's definitely not bad but I feel like it's just moving so slow. I also haven't really felt interested or connected with the MC until this point which is like a pretty significant portion of the book to expect your readers to wait to feel invested in the character/story. I'm going to keep reading and hope it gets better, but I just don't think this is the book for me. Wondering if I'm just not in the mood for historical fiction?
