Recs if you like Murder Most Unladylike...

Inspired by theaisreading and my love for teenage detectives and crime stories, I need a list which collects them all. Whether it’s missing secrets or suspicious suspects, these young, sometimes unintentional, detectives are always one step ahead and rarely play by the rules. From cozy to high stake. We don't judge. Feel free to recommend books I've missed and you like!

mysteries and thrillers in which the victim high-key sucks. rest in pieces, shitheads! love to hate 'em, we will not miss them. disclaimer: while the list creator is a certified hater, in no way is the list creator or pagebound condoning or encouraging violence, even in situations when that person does, in fact, suck.

because sometimes they can do what proper detectives cannot 🤔 here’s a list of ya/mg (murder) mystery books where crimes get solved the right way!

One of my favourite genres: Women and girl sleuths solving mysteries! I’ve tried only to include one book per series to not clog up the list too much. Happy to get recommendations in the comments as this is definitely my comfort genre!

Cozy murders to cleanse the palate or just enjoy! There are craft, coffee, pet, paranormal, vacation, estate and more in this list.

Are you bored? Do you need a fun, exciting, easy-to-read and/or random book to ignore your TBR and start reading right away? Reference this list!

Suggestions welcome 🙏

And who said Middle Grade isn’t worth it?

Books which heavily feature books, writing, and/or characters who are interested in those subjects
