Not sure how I'm feeling about this book yet. I like the concept, kind of like a mystical black mirror episode. But I feel like I'm not really connecting with the characters yet.

I felt the characters were pretty flat, and therefore I didn't really care about them or the story. The plot was alright, but it sounded more interesting than it was. Maybe it's partly down to having read some books with really well written characters and plots lately, but this just wasn't really for me.
