So this is definitely a slow burn. Cleo is a concierge/personal assistant type to the rich. Deacon is one of her clients. This first book is all about her breaking down his walls and the two of them realizing they might have feelings for each other. So they’re not together in this book. In fact, both are with other people. But they have such a sweet bond and I can’t wait to see them act on it.
