Hmm. Not really sure how I feel about this one. Cane is the typical alphahole that plows through with women like they are candy. He is never going to fall in love because of his past.
Jada had a bad marriage and she is not looking for another man who thinks women are candy and they are interchangeable.
I liked that Jada had her sister to reconnect with but the drama around the other person seemed a bit ridiculous.
I am not sure that I will read the novella or the next book. This was okay but not as good as I'd hoped.
