This book was a really great one to read. I had it on my TBR before I read the first look. Once I read that, I wanted to read it even more. I'm glad I was awarded the opportunity to do so in exchange for my review. The book was entertaining, heartfelt, and emotional. I like that Evie's voice shined through the narrative. I would have liked to have a little more interaction between Evie and her grandmother, but what is in the book is good.

The different plot points around the entertainment industry and social media really seem to ring true to life. Both things are definitely a bit of a roller coaster and it was interesting to read about Evie's ride.

I also liked the diversity in the characters throughout the book.

This book was extremely cute and fun to read during this time. This is about a girl who get shunned from the film industry after a video is released of her making fun of the director for a movie that she was supposed to be in and goes through the repercussions and her life following that. It is definitely a fun novel to read and held my interest throughout the plot of the book. I really found myself rooting for the main characters and hoping they found happiness and success. Even some of the characters that were set up as antagonists were relatable and interesting to read about. Overall, I think this book is a good read and would definitely recommend it if you are looking for a lighthearted book to read.
