How do you make these things just, like, notes to self? This isn't a review, this is just a note to remind me of what's happened. There's a story in this, & it's interesting, but that's all it is. A story. Like, gah, the characters & viewpoints are there, but just to move you from fact to fact to fact, like you're listening to someone recount an event in history, almost? Anyway, it's the author's first book ever, calm down.
