0 0Little Eve is my first read from Catriona Ward, but it certainly won't be my last. Skillfully written, the slowly developed sense of unease comes largely through the flat, matter-of-fact way characters relate horrific details, and the non-linear story swirls and shifts under you, so you never feel entirely sure where the story is headed. Haunting and impossible to put down.
