Recs if you like King of Ravens...

books featuring older women protagonists, age 30 and up, in sci-fi and fantasy. for books containing multiple povs/protagonists, older fmcs should hold equal weight and presence in the story as other mcs. ideally, aiming for more women centred additions, but open to all suggestions and feedback!

I'm sure some of these are already on your TBR, so might as well add some more! Let me know if I am missing any of your favorites!

Enter a court where stories are not simply told… they are embodied. This collection is reserved for duet and full-cast audiobooks only! Unlike single narration (one voice for all characters) or dual narration (one narrator per chapter or POV), duet narration means both narrators perform together throughout the story, each voicing their character in every scene. Full-cast audiobooks take it even further, with multiple voice actors embodying the entire world.

Fantasy romance books (or paranormal-adjacent e.g. Omegaverse) with FMCs in their 30s or older and/or FMCs who read as +30s

My dark fantasy romance recommendations for dark romance readers who also enjoy fantasy. The darkness of these books vary from mild bully romances to moderate darkness.

Reminder to check CW & TW.

Some of these series start off slow but get better after book 1 (e.g. Plated Prisoner and Death series)

A collection of stories where power is born in darkness, fate crowns the unwilling, and ancient magic shapes those brave enough to step into the shadows.

Suggestions welcome ☺️

Adult books with male leads who reminded me of Prince Cardan from The Cruel Prince: cruelty mixed with tenderness; desire and loathing. I've included the Cruel Prince as well for those who haven't read it
