Mila has gone viral with a couple of videos that she has done that featured her music. She has signed a new contract and is going to work on a movie writing the score while it is being filmed. Mila meets Ethan on the set of the movie and he thinks she is an assistant, ordering her to get him a coffee. She snarks back at him and they bicker. There are a couple of more instances where they argue and one happens in front of the director of the film. The director suggests that they fake date to both promote the film and bolster both of their images. Neither one of them thinks it's a great idea, but they go to dinner. Ethan introduces her to his daughter and she sees him in a different light. Soon, their dates are less faking and more making out. Unfortunately, there are forces that now want to break them apart. When it appears that Mila has betrayed Ethan, will he be able to figure out the truth before everything is ruined?
