Rock bottom isn’t the end, it’s the beginning. On his deathbed, Beau’s father reveals a life-changing secret. One big enough to send him into a tailspin of boozing and denial for a year. When Beck, a single mom new to town, shows up at his automotive shop, he isn’t expecting to meet the woman who will tear him from depression and turn his life around. And she doesn’t expect to catch the eye of a man ten years younger than her. What would he want with a single mom with a baby? Each of them holds their own pain, both fight to understand and release their past, and together the two of them discover the truth about love and family.

Tropes: Reverse Age Gap, Single Mom, Small Town
Kinks: Lactation/Nursing, breeding
I am a fan of age gap romance. This is only the second reverse age gap that I've read. I enjoyed reading an age gap where the woman is the older one. There is an 11 year age gap between Beck (heroine) and Beau (hero.)
This is the first book I've read where there is a lactation/nurse kink. I don't yuck on anyone's yum, but I don't think it's a kink I'll search to read more of.
I kept reading the book as the character development in this book is worth it. The growth that both Beck & Beau go through is huge. They both have a lot to overcome and they do by the end of the book.
This is my first book by Daisy's Jane and it wasn't bad! Beau was amazing and I loved him so much, but Beck annoyed the crap out of me. The spicy scenes were amazing. I gave it 4 stars for that reason! Me being me the book was hard for me to get through most because of how annoyed I got by beck. But overall, it was a good story
this is what i imagine Homelander reads at night
