I had to read this book for a class I'm taking, and of all the books I could have had to read for school, I'm glad this was one of them! It was actually super cute. I listened to the audiobook, so unfortunately I couldn't read along with the little pictures Rafe drew, so that's a bummer.
I'm actually kind of curious as to what's going to happen to our friend Rafe. I definitely did NOT need to be starting a 14 books series. And I know... I KNOW. It's not like is decided to start this series on my own. I could just call this a standalone and move on with my life but... no I can't. It's me. This is now an open series, and I MUST FINISH IT.
I'm also wondering if this will delve at all into Rafe's mental health. I'm wondering if we'll see more of Leo in future books. I know it's a middle grade, so there's a good chance it won't.
