He’s been making waves in Maryland’s underground racing circuit since he crossed the state line, and after speaking with him, we know he’s not hitting the brakes anytime soon. So what exactly does it take to burn rubber and make a name for yourself in a world where the only rule is there are no rules? You gotta be hungry… You gotta have balls… And you can never back down. What’ve we learned here at GearShark? Drew is all of the above. We also know he’s got some secrets buried under his hood. Secrets we think are loaded with octane and just might set the world of cars on fire. Check out the full feature article inside… ** This book contains an M/M romance relationship. **

    Reread April 2024: I just read this shit when I get in a reading slump and I swear it works every time. This is such good fucking food.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Reread March 2022: Have I read this book enough times yet? The answer is no, it will never be enough.
    I was STRUGGLING to get through House of Sky and Breath because that book was a fucking snoozefest. So I went to my tried and true...
    I freaking love this book.
    I stand by what I said: If I ever flatline, just start reading this book to me and I guarantee I will be resuscitated.
    Still fucking true.
    Reread November 2020: Do I regret reading this book twice in one year? Nope. Not even a little bit. Love coming back to it after having read the Hashtag series.
    Trent and Drew are still my angels and still the only thing I care about.
    Okay but actually. I wish someone had told me Cambria Hebert had written a book for me.
    This book is legit EVERYTHING I love. Like, it's not groundbreaking or new or original or anything like that. Not at all. But it's EXACTLY the kind of romance I love, especially in mxm romances. Just two guys who are bros. BFFs. And they just fall in love with each other and they're exploring their relationship and their sexuality. And everyone around them can tell, but they think they're being sly. Yeah, Cambria Hebert wrote this for me.
    Plus... sports.
    Like yeah there was no way I wasn't going to DEVOUR this. I feel so blessed there's a sequel.
    Also, this is a spinoff of another series, which you can tell. Like it makes it easy to guess who the main characters of the other series would be. I think I might check it out. But there seem to be references to events in those books that are VERY glossed over in here. Now, I don't need them SPELLED OUT. But there just wasn't enough for me to fully understand some of the events of the other series. But that's fine.
    I think most of the books in this series are mxm, but apparently book three is mxf so fingers crossed it's Joey bc I love her.
