This book has moments of suspense, romance and there were even a few times I laughed out loud. Some of the dialogue reads oddly, but it doesn't detract from the story.
The story follows the Bernardi brothers and their arranged marriages. The brothers are all part of a Mafia family so how they are to do things is steeped in the rules of the mafia. This first book follows Dante and Amara. The motivations for both aren't clear at first, but eventually both of them fall in love. There is spice here too, but know there is some mental abuse as well.
