He was a hot fling I thought I'd never see again… Now he's my next door neighbor. Seven years ago we shared a passionate weekend. Then he left without a word and it destroyed me. I was gutted. How could he move right next door of all places? I see him working in his woodshop through my kitchen window every day. I ignore his eyes on me from the front porch as I leave for my morning run. The sight of him sends flames of rage through my core. But I can’t help but notice how his biceps look through his tight white tee. And the way his jaw tightens as he runs his big, strong hands along the smooth wood. I feel my body aching for him to touch me like that. Again…and again. I’m doing everything to ensure our paths never cross. But he has something different in mind and seems determined to claim me again. I finally give in, hoping one last night together will get it out of our system so we can move on as just neighbors. But these two pink lines are telling me that might be easier said than done…

Kate and Phillip met and had one night together seven years ago. Now they find themselves living next door to each other. They consider being together again and again have just one night before they start fighting again. The real problem is that Phillip really likes Kate, but he doesn't know how to come out and tell her and ask for more. But because of their one night, there's a complication - the two of them are having a baby.
I loved both of the main characters, who are wary of the relationship for their own reasons. I did not like Ben, Kate's boss, he was so slimy. I love all of the side characters too. They really make the story and are good sounding boards for Phillip and Kate when they are trying to work out problems.
