Knox What do you do when the love of your life chooses someone else? Easy, you find a nice rebound. If it just so happens to be his hot, dumb hunk of a brother, even better. Elton Hill is everything wrong with people. He’s loud, annoying, way too intense, and pushes too hard. But he’s available and our secret friends-with-benefits relationship turns out to be exactly what I need. When I start to see a different side of him, things change. Apparently, the intense, sensitive, flamingo-loving golden retriever is perfect for me, and I’m not willing to give him up. Except, I’ve been keeping a secret that threatens to ruin the best thing that ever happened to me. I don’t know how long I can put off the inevitable, and I can only hope we’re strong enough to weather the aftermath of my mistake. Whiskey Sour is dual-pov, friends-with-benefits, dislike-to-love romance. With lingering secrets, too many flamingos, and meddling coworkers, Whiskey Sour will leave you on the edge of your seat. This is the second in a series of interconnected standalones featuring the workers of club XO as they try to find their HEAs.

“His breath catches in his throat, and then he’s kissing me. Wrapped up together on the dance floor, nobody knows who we are. Just two people in a sea of everything and nothingness, floating together as Hell takes over Miami. Just two people in a crowd of forgiveness, moving our lips to the symphony of Heaven around us. Just two people realizing how much they enjoy the blasphemy of it all.”
I knew that I was going to be obsessed with Knox and Elton when I read Dirty Martini. And I was right. Knox and Elton are everything and I love them so much !!!!
I already loved Elton in Dirty Martini and Knox was such a mystery in book one that when I finally read Whiskey Sour he instantly became my favorite.
And I loved how Addison Beck wrote Knox. You start to not like him in book one but I promise you, when you read Whiskey Sour, you will understand how he act the way he did in Dirty Martini. Out of all the character so far in this series, Knox is the most complex and layered character.
He’s very misunderstood by everybody and my heart broke for him.
Elton is the sweets most caring and understanding guy and that’s what Knox needed all his life. is for someone to see him and understand him and tell him he is worth it.
I love Elton and Knox together so much. Even though they’re completely different with each other, then together just makes sense and their moments are so sweet and tender it makes your heart warm.
I love everything about them and this one is truly a grump/sunshine story.
I loved Dirty Martini but I love Whiskey Sour and Elton and Knox even more, I’m so obsessed with these two. If you love grumpy/sunshine, opposites attract, friends with benefits, brother’s ex, then you will love Whiskey Sour.
Thank you to Addison Beck for sending me an ARC copy to read and review.
