This series holds a lot of value and memories for me. PSU season 1 was the first novel that introduced me to Kandi Steiner, and I've been an frequent reader of hers ever since. Things ended off real serious at the end of S2, something totally different than the tone of what S1 had. S3 had many ups and downs. You're on a roller coaster of emotions while reading this. Thing about PSU is that every episode and season is different. There's just enough of content in each episode where you NEED to read more and figure out what happens next. Despite there being more than two P.O.V.'s in the first person, I found the series relatively easy to follow without feeling lost or confused. Kandi writes in a way where the reader knows exactly who's head we're in without feeling too overwhelmed in the switch of perspectives. The thing I love about this series is that the cliff-hangers aren't so high. You have enough conflict resolutions where you don't feel like you're hanging off the edge, but there's just enough for a "to be continued" book. And if any of you know me, you know I hate cliffies. Also note that this is NOT a standalone and you must read the two books prior to this.
