Daniel and Vanessa first met many years ago when her business school professor asked him to take her under his wing. As they spent more time together, they realized that they really liked each other and they started a relationship. After part of his business went badly, Daniel dropped Vanessa and sent her away. Years later, they reconnect, but there are things that Daniel doesn't know. Will they be able to get the past and build a future together?

I really liked most of this story, but I did feel like there was a lot of back and forth. I also felt like at times Vanessa was too forgiving of Daniel without him really being remorseful.
