0Kayla is a white witch who hasn’t really been that great with magic. I like that she doesn’t take the easy way and tries to stick to her beliefs. She has some great guys - Darren, the shifter and sort of ex; Rhydian, the flirty fae; Kier, the sexy vampire/witch detective; and Solas, the demon with attitude. We also get to re-visit Christina and Nemo from Vengeance!
In this story, Kayla is out to solve a murder so she doesn’t end up in the Tombs (magical prison). There is humor, some magic that goes awry, and lots of flirtation. I can’t wait to see the relationships develop and find out what happens next!
