Recs if you like Primitive War...

i’m rewatching jurassic park, can you tell?

this niche is severely lacking and i’ll take any and all recommendations

Dinosaur fiction for adults.

Living, non-anthropomorphised dinos only (i.e. not just bones and no beasties having a chat). Only the first book in a series unless subsequent books are iconic (like Jurassic Park and The Lost World).

May include spice, gore, bad words, and other fun adulty stuff.

From the big SciFi OGs of Michael Crichton, to horror-esque survival and good old adventure stories. This is my curated list of dinosaur-centric stories that I thoroughly enjoyed. 🏃‍♂️🦖

I didn't see a list when I went looking for this, so here's all the dinosaur horror books I could find. Recommendations are welcomed!

Rawr. Books must feature dinosaurs as main characters, incorporate them into crucial plot moments, or be the main subject of a nonfiction book.
