Romantasy with a (in my opinion) perfect fantasy/romance balance -as a fantasy lover who doesn't like when the romance takes over

Fantasy romance is great. Fantasy romance where the worldbuilding, politics, and stakes actually matter? Even better. These books prove you can have yearning, betrayal, monsters, and revolutions in the same story.

We loved flawed characters here, because perfect people are boring.
