This is book 2 of the series and you do need to read book 1 first. Also, this ends in a cliffhanger as well.
This is Luca and Natalya's story starting from their wedding. These two do want to get married, even if he's mafia and she's a Bratva princess. They get married and are intimate for the first time. Luca's plans for their honeymoon is that they'll spend most of their time indoors and naked. However, his enemies have other plans and crash the private party. They return to New York thinking it will be safer, but soon war is declared. Luca asks his father to keep Natalya safe, but she's kidnapped.
There's a lot of miscommunication in this story and it leads to not good things. While the two do want to be together, it comes with a lot of baggage and tension.
