I really enjoyed the story of Mia, her family and I could tell this story was special to the author. I'm glad she gave us a bit more of dept on what it meant to her. And It's always unfortunate to lose people in tragic incidents.

As for the story overall, I was moved by the family, their memories and how everything connected. I was a huge fan of moving back and forward in time. Despite some controversy, I liked the ending because for me she choose to live because there was still something to live for, despite the awful loss Mia suffered in such a short period of time.
