'Aphrodite kissed a mortal once by the light of this moon, many thousands of years ago. It drove him crazy. The next person that he kissed - boum. The craziness travelled like this from person to person. It travelled through time. Everywhere - boum! Tu comprends?' 'Where did it end up?' I whisper. His lips are on my cheek now. 'It ended with me. And now I am going to pass it to you. You will like that, mermaid?' Imagine the perfect kiss. A legendary kiss that makes people crazy with love. Imagine a summer's night, on a moonlit beach in the South of France, as French boy Laurent kisses 16-year-old Delilah after the best chat-up line she's ever heard. BOOM! Delilah is pretty sure the Kiss is fiction, despite her head-spinning holiday fling. But with all the sudden crushes, break-ups and melt-downs happening back at home, the Kiss starts looking a little too real for comfort. If only Delilah could keep track of where it's gone ...Who knew one kiss could cause this much trouble? A hilarious rom-com that will delight Geek Girls everywhere!

This book is a teenage romance, that’s it. There’s literally nothing else about this book and it doesn’t market itself as anything but a romance which is always appreciated since sometimes summaries can be misleading. However, as a teenage romance book I think it could have been a better teenage romance book.
For the first half of this book I felt like it was having an identity crisis. I’m not sure the author knew what the book wanted to be and the first half of it felt disjointed and awkward for the most part but it picked up and found itself for the second half of the story.
The characters were likable and I enjoyed reading about them. Delilah was enjoyable enough, if a bit childish but as a teenage romance story that promised to be more rom com than heart felt I wasn’t really expecting much more from her. Love interest Jem was also an enjoyable character, though I did think he could have been more developed.
Over all I enjoyed the book but wasn’t blown away by it. I felt like the romance aspect of the book could have been handled better and Delilah’s and Jem’s relationship could have developed more naturally and deeply as well since over all I don’t think there really were a lot of scenes of the two of them actually interacting.
