Luke needs out. Patrick needs help. Now that Luke Providence has graduated from high school, he’s ready to use the ‘contract’ his parents put in place for marry a girl his parents approve of and receive the $100,000 his parents have put aside to start a new life. The only issue? Luke is gay, and his parents are the type of Baptists who take the ‘rod no thicker than a man’s thumb’ verse very literally. With Patrick Demden’s dad recently deceased and no high school degree to help him get a job, even the land the trailer is on is a temporary thing. So when Patrick’s old crush, Luke, storms in and asks to get married, picket fence included, how could he refuse? Throw in three mischievous little sisters and a small town in the mountains of Colorado, and it’s a recipe for hand-built families and hilarity.
