I loved some of the topics discussed in this book. I especially loved that the author looked into how masc lesbian are often expected to be the more dominant and protective partner when that is not the case. I also found the chosen family trope quite heartwarming. The only reason I am giving the book four stars is because I wished Lucy and Cal had a bit more chemistry, I felt myself wanting more from both characters when reading.
