Chaos has a name... he also has an agenda... Enri, bastard son of Hades, has always had his sights set on taking his father down. But plotting the king of the Underworld’s demise takes time and finesse. Moving all the pieces on his ever-expanding game board, Enri bides his time. Until he realizes that his true identity was taken from him and his true target is revealed. But the upcoming battle isn't his only obstacle. Enri must ally with the Shadow Unit, and since he's the final piece of the Danea Trinity, that isn't as easy as it sounds. Just as Enri thinks things can't get more complicated, another unlikely ally and confidante bring Enri face-to-face with a choice he’d never thought to consider. Yewa knows pain, she knows loss. Her time in captivity with the Agency taught her that evil is real. Finally free to make her own choices, she joins forces with the enigmatic, Enri. He’s everything everyone says he is... and more. She’d only promised to help. But it only took one kiss, one bite to tie their lives together forever. And as the unlikely pair find themselves battling to defend the fate of the world, they realize they'll need to fight for their love as well. **PNR, SHIFTERS, +18 and over Multicultural/Interracial Romance**

    Wow.
I’ve been a huge fan of Tigris Eden anyway, and slowly reading my way through her vast, diverse catalog. This series has been like a drug to me, and I couldn’t absorb it fast enough. As I write this, I’m anxiously awaiting the next one…

That said, I still had to just stop and marvel at just how talented she is many times during this book. She is a master of her craft for sure. While some manuscripts can be a bit cleaner, the content tends to be original and even mind-blowing at times. In this installment of the Shadow Unit series, she demonstrates how skilled she is with advanced character complexity and story-weaving when Enri, this guy who’s been a complete dick for four books, suddenly becomes someone I feel for at times, relate to at others… admittedly his true allegiance was confusing at times and she did a good job of hinting there was more to him throughout the series. How much more though, was still understated.

Yewa, we only met in Book 4 but she too is a fairly complex character. She’s brilliant and manages to add to the entire series; I won’t say how for anti-spoiler reasons but this series is worth reading, and in order.

This book deserves 5 stars for the sheer complexity of both Yewa and Enri alone. The wild ride it is, the action, the witty banter among Shadow Unit teammates and the worlds she created are not to be forgotten at all, but as amazing as they are, what impresses me in this one, is the character development.

Cannot wait for more. 5 stars.
