This is the last book in Rushdan’s Final Hour series. I have loved reading this series and would HIGHLY recommend! CW: this book discusses PTSD, depression, and suicide.

Kit is the leader of a white-hat hacker group. One of the team members convinces the group to take on a job Kit is not in favor of. As a result, all of Kit’s team is murdered. Kit witnesses the entire thing and is now on the run. Castle, a field operative for Gray Box (an off the books government agency), is tasked with bringing Kit in. He brings her in, saving her life from the men that are hunting her in the process. Castle is assigned babysitting duties of Kit and they struggle to maintain a bodyguard/person of interest relationship when it becomes very clear they have undeniable chemistry.

This book has twists and turns I did NOT see coming! These books can all be read as standalones, but I would definitely suggest reading the whole series to understand the ramifications of what goes down in the third book. I really liked this book and I loved that Rushdan surprised me. While I really liked this book, I wasn’t the biggest fan of Castle and Kit. Castle is good, but Kit definitely made a decision that put both of them in harm’s way, which is a big pet peeve of mine. This book is fast paced, I love all of the side characters, and the plot was excellent. I would read any book by Juno Rushdan at this point!
