Travis and Elle dated when they were both in law school. He broke it off and they went their separate ways. Elle has completed school and is working for Travis' father's firm and is happy there. When Travis' father passes away, he comes back to take over the firm so now he is Elle's boss. They agree that they can be friends but that's it (that's not what he wants, he knows he let her get away and he wants her back, but he'll take what he can get). The two of them start working on a project for a client together and things seem really fishy. Then Elle is threatened with a break-in; Travis lets her know that he is going to protect her. They have one very intense night together. Will these two be able to find a way past what has happened before (and Travis' ex) to make a life together?
