Drama has played an important role in the developement of Belizean culture. This first ever anthology of Belizean drama is a part of the rediscovery of some of the wonderful local material written and performed in the past. The works range from the humourous to the tragic, are based in myth and real life, and have been created by some of the country's best known writers, artists and performers.
