I was lucky enough to get my hands on an e-book ARC.
It’s bittersweet finishing a series you love. And yet, here I am.
Suri became one of my all-time favorite characters in chapter one of the first boo, and from that moment on, she never disappointed. Honestly, I don’t know if I love her or Kol more. The story is filled with characters who all deserve their own books and stories to tell. Having side characters that doesn’t seem flat to the reader is something Sandpiper really succeeds in. Instead, they feel like real people, making decisions from their own standpoint rather than just to serve the story.
The story itself is captivating and I feel like I received an ending with answers to all the questions I had from the earlier books in the series – without it being too obvious or boring. I wouldn’t say I’ve been HAPPY all the time along the way—more like traumatized from time to time—but I’ve definitely been entertained.
Ah, wondering if the vibes are there? 100% yes.
