Reading Queer in 2026 (a non-exhaustive list)
We should all be reading queer, all year, but this list is full of upcoming queer books of all makes and models coming out in 2026. If you have a rec to add, just please keep in mind we’re looking for 2026 releases!
queer 2026 releases to look forward to!
this is an ongoing list of lgbtqiap+ books (across all genres, and age groups) that are planned to be released in 2026. if you’re an arc reader, you can also check whether any of them are available as arcs!! feel free to suggest books to add, since I’ll work on this list over time as well 🥰
last books added in: january!
Oh my darlin', Clementine
This list was started due to a discussion of main characters named Clementine that happened with @makiki in the Weird Overlaps club post. If you find another book with a MC (or worthy side character) named Clementine, let me know so I can add it!
2026 Queer Releases
Every year we get more and more queer books in more and more diverse genres and I for one would like to roll around in all of them from sheer joy 🙂↕️ since I can’t do that here is a list to metaphorically roll around in instead.
Disclaimer: all books had 2026 releases at the time of adding. The publishing industry does change things around though.
2026 Middle Grade Releases
A list of the MG books published in 2026. Please comment if any are missing.
