Beguiled, Bewitched, & Broken (Sister Witches, #4)

Coralie Moss

Enjoyment: Quality: Characters: Plot:

Beryl Brodeur has a secret. Three secrets actually, and the middle sister has twenty-four hours to reveal them all. Lives--and love--depend on it.I come from a family of witches where secrets are the norm, a curse determines our fated mate, and being curvy and short means I’m often underestimated. All that has to change. I’m tired of carrying shame for things that happened when I was just a little witch. I didn’t know better. My mother covered for me--but forgot to unbind my magic until it was too late. She took my secrets to her grave. And this family curse--what if it’s not always right? Kostya Arkadi is the only lover I’ve ever had, and the only man I’ve ever loved. But if I bring my magic out in the open and show him all that I am capable of, I run the risk of losing him.No one should underestimate any of the Brodeur sister witches--nor should we be sidelined when the battles begin. Because Lionel Vigne’s enslavement of rare and unusual Magicals ends tonight... and I hope I live to see the morning.

    Enjoyment: Quality: Characters: Plot:

Fans of the Sister Witches urban fantasy series will find a lot to love in the fourth book of the series. Told from the middle sister, Beryl's, point of view, this story picks up right where Alderose's story left off. The sisters are in France, licking their wounds and with a dungeon full of magical beings to save.

Beryl has unknowingly created a unique type of magic for herself, Beguilement, and she must learn how to wield it to save her sisters and herself. Featuring appearances from favorite (and not-so-favorite) characters from Moss's Calliope Jones series, the story tells how a group of magical beings must work together to save the entrapped magical beings and defeat an evil fae family. Filled with raids and battles both physical and intellectual, this installment of the series will both engross and entertain.
